The body lines of the new 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 are stunning. If you can get past the smilin' grill of the new Mazdaspeed3, the hot hatchback is much improved from the old model. It now sports a hood scoop to help cool off the large top-mounted intercooler. Despite this "cool" feature, however, Mazda still claims 263 horsepower and 280 foot pounds of torque, the same as the last model. There is also a digital boost gadge to let you know when you are putting the squeeze to the turbocharged 2.3L 4 cylinder engine. The suspension also got an upgrade with bigger wheels and tires and stiffer springs, making the new model zip around the track even better than the previous version. Mazda really refined the Mazdaspeed3 to make it handle the curves! Hopefully the aftermarket will come out with a replacement for that front grill. Hopefully the new look of Mazda will grow on us, but for now it's taking some time to get used to...
